Mindfulness As A Way of Life.

Don Reed Simmons's beginnings were being raised on a farm in the South where horses and cows and the people he met were his teachers. Unfortunately, so was two debilitating illness during childhood: Ankylosing Spondalitis a severe form of arthritis affecting all major joints in the body and especially the spine, and Crohn's Disease, a type of inflammatory gastrointestinal disease. These "teachers" formed his compassionate outlook of kindness towards self and others. Growing up in the rural South in the 50's and 60's taught him tolerance and love for his neighbors who all looked very different than him. His father, a Navy trained pilot, was a flight instructor and airport manger, which is where he gained the love of freedom and aviation. His mother was a gentle soul with a strong will and a fair heart.  During the mid-1970's, while living in Hawaii, there was a moment where he easily could have died during a SCUBA dive. Amazingly, he was plucked from the ocean by an unknown force. Life changed after that moment and a few year later during meditation a large Kahuna, the Hawaiian shaman, became his teacher and Spirit Guide. 

 

This is the foundation which later became "The Shamans Path to Awakened Living" a system of practices to develop Spiritual growth, Intuitive awareness and Intentional action all while serving humanity with Compassion. Don started teaching this particular form of Shamanism in 2005 and has watched his students grow in confidence and found a clear connection between "Self and Source."

Having worked as a Crisis Intervention Counselor in NYC, L.A. and Honolulu, Don brings to his work not only compassion but an awareness of the human condition and frailties.

Don is recognized as a Mystic, Meditation Teacher, Public Speaker, Shamanic Practitioner, Psychic, and Medical Intuitive. With over 25 years experience, he is considered to be one of the most successful and beloved psychics and meditation teachers.  His intuitive readings are conducted in person, on the phone and by Zoom.

He is certified in Past Life Regression by Brian Weiss, MD (“Many Lives,Many Masters”) and has developed and mastered the ability to tap into Past Lives and bring clarity into Present day Life. Past Life readings are both by hypnosis and through Intuitive reading.

 

Don’s sessions are always grounded with actionable advice . His recorded guided meditations can be found on mobile apps and are listened to by thousands of of people every day.  Although he is based in Sarasota, FL., his clients span the globe.
